Teeth can discolour by staining foods and drinks (like coffee and tea) and smoking. Teeth whitening is a non-invasive treatment that is generally safe. However there can still be risks involved if it isn’t performed correctly. When you book a consultation with us, our dentists will carefully explain the treatment options and what results you can expect.

Like regular braces, Invisalign realigns your teeth. The resulting movement might cause some initial discomfort, which patients often describe as tenderness or pressure. The discomfort might last after a few days. To see if Invisalign is right for you, please make an appointment to talk with one of our dentists.

There are several reasons to remove wisdom teeth, including impacted wisdom teeth which aren’t able to emerge normally, and partially emerged wisdom teeth that can be difficult to clean and harbour bacteria. You may need to remove your wisdom teeth if you’re experiencing pain or repeated tooth decay in the area. Speak to one of our dentists to understand if your wisdom teeth need to be removed.

Getting a dental checkup during pregnancy is not only safe, but also important! Pregnancy may also affect your dental health, which should not be left unmanaged. Remember to let your dentist know you’re pregnant and how far along you are so your dental treatment can be properly planned.

Your visit to the dentist may involve taking a dental X-ray. This is a very common diagnostic procedure which is quite safe, even for children. Digital dental X-rays use very low doses of radiation.
